Little Women
The Unseen Review presents BOOKS ON FILM at The Chiswick Cinema, hosted by Jessie Lethaby.
In this monthly book + film club, we’ll be exploring how filmmakers adapt great works of literature for the big screen.
In 19th century Massachusetts, the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—on the threshold of womanhood, go through many ups and downs in life and endeavour to make important decisions about their futures. (taken from IMDB)
Join us by first reading Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women, and then attending the screening of Greta Gerwig’s adaptation on 17th December. Afterwards there will be a guided discussion, followed by the opportunity to mingle with your fellow biblio- and cinephiles.
